Some friendly advice, I'd highly recommend NOT posting on the Bruins board right now.

If it was Thomas I have no problem with that.. The guy was the best player on the ice tonight despite giving up 4 goals.. He made some great saves to give his team a chance to win..

The Habs could have score 7 or 8 goals tonight easily if it wasn't for Thomas.. A much needed and big win before the grueling 7 game road trip coming up..

Huge win that we desperately needed right now.

Looks like Patches could very well be the answer to our Top Six winger problem. Great play from him, Cammy, and Gionta tonight.

We really could us a good PMD.

After this game, I change my mind on something I said a couple weeks back - give Patches a permanent spot on the 2nd line with Gomez and Gionta, and spend that free cap space to make a trade for a legit veteran PMD sometime between now and the trade deadline. We miss Markov soooooo much on powerplays that it's not even funny.

So it's the same as every night when their Bruins fail against their #1 nemesis then.. Some things just never change...

If the Habs had not won all their games against Boston this year, the team would not be first in the division and Boston would be.

He and P.J Stock have been BRUTAL the entire night. Calling PK out for not fighting the "typical 3rd/4th line guys to earn his teammates respect". It was Scott Thornton who wanted to go with him. That guy is dangerous. Then PJ saying that when PK tapped Lapierre on the chest after the fight he was saying "Thank god that wasn't us".

God, it was terrible.

I agree on Thomas, I probably would have had them there instead of Cammalleri.

To be bit negative, I was uncomfortable when the Eller line or Picard was on the ice. Granted, Darche-Eller-Lapierre is the 4th line and you shouldn't expect much from them, but they spend a bit too much time in their own end from my impressions. It's just something I have to deal with (unrealistic expectations and all that) Picard, well, he was our 7th defenseman going into the season, but the Habs need an upgrade on him if Pacioretty can play well from now through to the rest of the season.

Highlight of the night is Lucic trying to goon it up after the whistle on an unsuspecting Kostitsyn and ending up on his ass.

Amen.. The Bruins fans hatred towards the Habs is just not healthy I tell ya.. Their comments are always over the top when they lose to the Habs..

All I know is it makes for some very entertaining reading and a few good laughs at their overreactions..

I want to go to the Boston Bruin school of embellishing. They seem to never get called for the dive.

for those who watched the game on RDS, they haven't showed the replay of the Boychuk hit so there you go.

Is it too much to ask of the CBC to put some balance on the commentary desk. I mean come on. PJ Stock and Mike Milbury with McLean

I can see Milbury raving about Laps acts, but gimme a break. Dragging PK into the mix? Then again Milbury has to be considered among the worst GMs in the history of the NHL so I guess you have to consider the source

Anyway back to the original rant. It would be nice to see balanced discussion instead of this perpetual cheerleader squad (yes you Milbury LOL) between periods when the Habs play

I didn't think the reffing was balanced at all. I can abide with what they called against Mtl warts and all. But hey, so many minors overlooked against the Bruins

Anyway for all that BS about Recchi stepping up? I guess they meant when HE was yapping from the bench. Can't recall him in any fights or playing large. So yes Mr Milbury. Recchi with his 1600 games experience knows how to do hand puppets from the bench. Now that's leadership
