It actually wasn't an insult. I am serious, I know you were being sarcastic on Leighton. But I seriously don't know if you were being sarcastic on Hatcher. No insult intended - honestly.

Good point. Does anyone have the answer? If he has to go through re-entry, hell no don't bring him up. 300,000 is still 300,000 we don't have.

NWO - I have seen two other posts on it. I am seriously asking.....is Hatcher working out? I assume the answer is no. But the way you wrote it, it sounded real. I googled it and saw nothing. That might make me very gullible, am I alone?

Meh, Carle has been covering for Pronger all over the ice due to the Knee injury. Carle was outstanding the first two games of the year when he was paired with Mez. I think Carle will perform much better being paired with Mez. Question is who joins Kimmo on the Powerplay?

Hatcher is working out his knees and I also think Desjardins, Therien, Coffey, Gary Galley, and Dimitri Yushkevich are going to suit up for us this year!!!

Sorry I couldn't help myself LOL!! In all seriousness, if Hatcher is working out, it certainly isn't to make a comeback to play this year. I always thought that Hatcher was horrible on the Flyers anyways.

OK - so sarcasm then. You do know that Chris Chelios is making a comeback in Russia? And Claude Lemieux came back last year for the San Jose Sharks. What you just said in a completely serious manner is no more far fetched than those things that actually happened!

I thought Hatcher was terrible. Then his stick and Crosbys teeth got acquainted. Since then, Hatch has been all good in my books

My concern is two injuries in year 1 of the 7 year deal. Hopefully this is simply coincidence and not a bad sign of things to come.

Ah, I knew the injuries were coming, it was just a matter of time. The Flyers had been very fortunate early in the season to avoid injuries to star players, but now they've got one. It'll be interesting to see what the struggling PP does without Prongs.

It is very interesting to see:
1. How Carle looks without Pronger.
2. How Meszaros looks in the top 4 playing top minutes
3. How the PK looks without Pronger
4. THe configuration of the PP without Pronger.

Based on what Broadsthockey is stating on Twitter, Bart and O'D are the 5-6 pairing. Timo-Coby stay together and Mes takes Prongers spot. Can't wait to see what Lavy does tomorrow. This is a huge injury.

Hmm. A Mez-Carle line would be interesting. We'd get to see what sort of potential Meszaros actually has.

I blame Cliff Lee. He stole all the good Philly vibes this week.

well best case he misses what 9 or 10 games? worse case add a few more to that. i think we will be ok. We have a great coach who can manage things until Pronger gets back Does it suck? of course it does. Better now then April. If I was a betting man I say hes back in a little over 4 weeks.
We play what 2 games in the next 2 weeks? Probably the best time to have a significant injury if we were going to have one.

Given all that has happened this week, I think the only logical course is that Leighton suit up as a Dman. He can plan a half-rink game, offers size on the back end, and his 5-hole would serve as a funnel to Bob-Boucher.

Cap problem and defensive problem all solved in one move. I'm brilliant!

Correct. Twitter is a buzz with this. Sarah is saying 11 games at 4 weeks and 17 games if 6 weeks. He will miss the annual west coach trip. The thinking is, he should be 6 weeks to rest him. However, if the Flyers start to lose.....he will be rushed, like the Flyers always do
