What would you say if I told you we needed that "North American Grit" and we signed Manny and Raffi for our 3rd line and they have been great on the 3rd line this year
I think you will get 4 out of 6, but all in Alberta, none in Vancouver. Does this mean Canada will respect now?
Is that Boomer dude on the road trip as well?
I do think we are missing some of the grit both those guys have and agree if we get any points on this trip they will come in Alberta.. I liked the way Sestito played and hope he can continue to play and display his hard nosed NA type of hockey, Arniel seems to like him so far and so do I. No Boomer on this trip, from what I understand he will be phased out and history by the summer..
I've been saying this for years and I'll reiterate here as I believe the premise still holds -- There is no team in the league the CBJ should beat.
Now, that doesn't take into account another premise, which I also believe holds -- There is no team in the league the CBJ couldn't beat.
Gotta have at least 4 points - although if 2 of those come in OTLs, that could feed any "lack of confidence" thing that might be lingering.
I disagree. We should beat that Edmonton team. I guess I was incorrect about Calgary, but that's cool with me.
We are a better team, in a better place in the standings, than the Edmonton Oilers. I truly believe that; there's no reason we shouldn't beat teams like that ... other than the guys simply not trying hard enough.

Seeing as you're one of the leading experts on criticality theory in these parts, question for you.
Seeing as these guys are a bunch of loafing disgraces to the believe train who hate tr00 freedom, are these points just false hope? In both games, the team was behind entering the 3rd in some tough buildings. But in both games, we got gutsy 3rd period efforts.
I'm just confused is all. I thought this team folded like a cheap tent in a windstorm at the first sign of adversity.

Meh. Just recalling my pre-trip post about 2 OTLs is all. Not sure what you're getting at, but I'd hope that folks would get that I make few grand, sweeping pronouncements, and hardly ever minor inferences, from any given result.
But Jakes been getting posts, and with it being the 10 year anniversary, only fitting to go way back in the time machine. Somebody get that boy a rubber chicken
4 out of 6, if we win tonight will be awesome, however looking back on it, it should be a disappoint that they should have had at the very least 5 out of 6.
