Two-Tone Army

Any traditonal or two-tone ska fans around? Stuff like the Toasters, Pilfers, Specials, Desmond Dekker or any English Beat type of stuff?

If so what are some of the bands you listen to?

Kind of ironic you mention Desmond Dekker. My friend sent me the song 'Israelites' after, in an unrelated event, I was told I was to represent Israel in a mock-UN symposium in Montreal (Hurray! Free trip during school!). Anyways, the song has been stuck in my head forever. I love it. And others, like 007 (shanty town) are great as well.

As for ska, I like Reel Big Fish. They count?

Real ska, great. My favourites would be The Specials and Madness. Great genre all around though.

For ska I've only listened to The Specials. Loved em. But, to be honest, it's because I liked the singer (Terry Hall?) who was also in Fun Boy 3, and The Colourfield. Dug all three bands in high school. The memories are flooding back to me. :dazzle:
