I know this is a GDT, but I'm seeing Gilroy scratched for the up-teenth time.. would it be possible for the Rangers to send him to Hartford for a conditioning stint? The guy must be rusty beyond belief...

only problem is that Gilroy would have to agree to it, some players reject it because they rather stay on the NHL team..

Gilroy hasn't been terrible in the minimum minutes in the few games hes played here and there (conditioning wise), he's still practicing and participating in gameday skates. If they should send anyone down for a conditioning stint it should be white, and then they should just not bring him back up

Oh shut it already, seems like you say this or something similar before every game in the gdt, try having some faith in the team you supposedly root for instead of being Debbie Downer

Don't like stepan on the wing one bit: the dubi switch worked out but torts better not make this a consistent thing, stepan is this teams future down the middle don't **** with it.

Yeah, not sure about these lines but torts is probably thinking about running four lines that can be a threat that feature guys who have shown chemistry in the past for at least 2/3rds of each line

This team plays a good defensive game, I don't think the problem will be the matchups as much as the occasional defensive/mental lapses that Philly will jump all over.

Guys, don't freak out over the lines. This is probably specifically for against the Flyers. There's always special lines against the Flyers.

Stepan - Christensen - Gaborik
Dubinsky - Anisimov - Frolov
Fedotenko - Boyle - Prust
Avery - Drury - Weise

Still don't like Stepan on the wing. would rather see EC on the wing.

I also wouldn't have broken up the Frolov-Boyle-Prust line. IMO they've been our best line since they got put together.

Haha I've got some beer a basket of wings and convinced the bartender to put on the MSG feed instead of the flyers.

Game on!!
