At least nobody will claim our defensive style is boring.

Wilson was camped wide open in front of the net, I can't believe O'Reilly felt he couldn't get it to him. Held it and looked for so long he finally dumped it off to Sully.

Begin is off to a bad start on this callup. Can we switch to Lundmark? j/k (a little) I just missed the replay of the hit.

Anyone else think we've seen the last of Begin. 8-9 minutes of ice time, 2 penalties, and at least one goal given up. Can't remember if New Jersey scored on their PP last night. Not the best way to impress Trotz.

Not happy about the score, but I'm glad Dex is getting a chance before heading back to MIL. Things will probably settle down the next 40 minutes, so we should get a good feel for Dex.

Terrible game to go to. All we can do is move on and get ready for the next game.

Some people go through life in shades of grey. Not the Preds! When ending the streak they decided to do so in a spectacular fashion.

Good run team. Get it going again next game.

Nice run Joetimo! That was a hell of a mojo series of GDThreads.

Interesting since the attendance on the stat sheet says otherwise.

Yeah stat sheet says 16.7k which is 400 short but those could be singles...

I'm pretty sure that it doesn't have to actually be 17,113 for them to be able to call it a sellout. It may be within that 400-500 area when they are allowed to count it as sold out.

The Good: It wasn't a shut out. We usually have at least one or two stinkers at home, this was one of them. And I would rather get hammered by a good LA team than a bad Edmonton one like we did last year.

The Bad and Ugly: Basically everything else.

Could almost see this one coming. PREDS (especially multi-injured PREDS) aren't talented enough to sustain a long win streak, plus just coming off a road game last night v.s. a team waiting here. It was funny that a guy next to me said, "so much for the winning streak..it didn't last very long". I pointed out that in PREDS terms, 5 games IS very, very long. Get some rest and health guys- I want Santa to bring me another win against the #%*+ ing hawks, plus a beat down of Mr. Carrie Underwood's team in front of his wife.
