I still beleive he was a good choice. The problem in Long Island would be the atmostphere. In colorado, guys like Sakic can come in a give you a pet talk. Foot being still on the roster help youth. A very good situation for any yougn guy coming in.
In long Island, there are lots of problem and unfortunatly for JT, it's a long way up that hill. It a losing mentalty and some are comtemp with it(Doug Weight...there Captain)

You're mad at the wrong people.
People you should be mad at:
1-the fans who jeered Patrick Roy that night
2-Mario Tremblay

NO: Ronald Corey.

The guy destroyed what he had built over 12 years... Because of the "image" (he is a marketing guy). That is why the Habs lost key cogs like Chelios, Carbonneau and Roy (as well as Pat Burns).

colorado is not responsable its your garbage organisation when they put houle as gm and tremblay as coach thats how you lost roy
and there is 4 major sports in denver........ and if you look @ the avalanche attendence its more then 80%
ps: Any day i would chose the young guns and the offensive fun game of the avs and amazing drafting then the canadiens martins boring defensive system and very bad in drafting..

ps2:go pay gomezes salary
Lacroix probably conned Houle by using the French bound, which is despicable.

I've always hated the Nords, I've hated the Avs. I have to admit that now that they have built their own team, I don't mind them as much, I even rooted for them against Ottawa.

But man, they were handed a Stanley Cup, that's BS, and what for, corruption and lazyness and lack of faith... oh and I dislike the Broncos as much as the Avs

I got love for Carmelo, thought !

Our Captain (Foote) is veteran and is far away from his prime.
Wilson is mostly garbage .
Hunwick is garbage, too.
O'Byrne is great .

Yup. Can't believe we gave him to you guys for a prospect who we have 100000 clones down in the farm, as opposed to big, physical shut down D.

I like this idea. Actually I think Darche is more skilled than Moen. His hands are much quicker in front of the net. Darche seems to be able to make stuff happen. He played some pretty good shifts with that line last year as well. He has been one of the best bang for your buck players on our team.

It was the best solution. He just didn't fit in your system, and he's the type of player we badly needed and still need one.

Avalanche defenseman Ryan O'Byrne, top, is crushing opponents since arriving
in Colorado. He has 54 hits. (Kevin C. Cox, Petty Images)
