EDIT: We still play against Calgary? lolol
They're the only team we can play although why Edmonton doesn't make an appearance between four Flames fests I'll never know.

What a game! The most complete game I have seen from this team all season. Hopefully they feed off this and start stringing wins together

Outshot 29-16 with a ten minute period where both teams combined for one SOG = most complete game of the season.

Not disagreeing. Just... wow.

No, they'll come back home on Monday, get scored on within the first 10 seconds of the game... will get Iginla'd in the 2nd period when he gets a natural hat trick, on their way to giving up comepletely in the 3rd.

Well I meant up to this point. Defense was really solid, and they scored goals. They did get outshot but what's new. If TR moves Mittens back to the first line just because he scored on the PP, ill be angry. I like Kobe there way better. I liked the lines tonight. I can't agree with Russo on the Zids/Zanon pairing. They were a huge liability tonight going up against the Jackman/kostopolous/whoever else line. Outmuscled and hemmed in their own zone most of the night. I have missed Koivu playing like the beast we know he can be at times. Welcome back KK.

I suggest you go back and read more of the thread... I'm trying to spread the anti-jinx with my reply to your post... nothing more...

Please Koivu, play like this more often. Seriously, he was just awesome.

this was the opposite Koivu from the one i've been *****ing about all seaso; this was the $7 million dollar Koivu, not the $3 million dollar Koivu. Kobasew makes a huge difference on that line, too. Fine, reunite Mittens and Koivu on the PP but please leave chuck up there until that line sinks again, then still leave him up there and swap out Brunette for someone.

Continue to love Bouchard and Havlat--it seems like both of them are shooting more together than they were apart, which is great when you consider it could have easily turned into a "you shoot!" "No, you shoot!" "NO! YOU!" pass-pass-pass fest.

We don't get bottles, just cups at games, so it would be hard to throw them very far. Someone did throw one at me at the end of the game though(didn't get spat on, so I'm happy). Was pretty funny actually, there were about 5 Flames fans 3-4 rows up from me, and every chant they made seemed to be a fail on this night. Multiple different ones at Koivu trying to get under my skin and all, and then made jabs at Sarich and Stajan who combined on their goal .

I'll take that Kobasew-Miettinen swap anytime, I thought both were particularly effective on their lines.
Koivu was wonderful, that Kobasew goal was a thing of beauty.

And do yourselves a favor, go read any of the game recaps from the Calgary Herald. I lol'd, because its like there's just a small amount of adjectives that can be applied to our team.

Anyone else actually kind of get some sick pleasure out of other teams calling us boring?

Holy **** I can't read

I've been to quite a few of those games. Only once did I sit close to the ice though. Safety hazard with all the bears that don't make it to the ice
