You'd think so, but they're on a 5-game winning streak. And some proper teams too: Chicago x2, Atlanta AND Washington back-to-back. (Yea Caps are struggling, but they're not too bad now). Credit goes to coaches and their players stepping up and sticking to their plan.
Here's to a fast, exciting game
daayum. Those are some VERY VERY impressive victories even IF you had your top guys. Gonna be a tough matchup.
I'm OK with high scoring teams. I'm confident our goaltending and our defense will come through. The only matchups I'm worried about are against teams that limit our offensive opportunities. Given that defensive line-up and the emergence of our second line, we should be ok.
lol the funny thing is as an Avs fan I'm excited that these are the ONLY injuries we have! at one point we've had 4 top 6 D out (before our D trades) and 4 top 6 forwards.. but we're finding a way to win. i'm excited for having Galiardi and Stastny back for this game, that will be a huge boost.. hopefully Andy can pick up his game, should be a good one
Cody McLeod (LW) Day to day - Groin
Milan Hejduk (RW) Day to day - Groin
Chris Stewart (RW) Early January - Hand
Kyle Cumiskey (D) Out indefinitely - Concussion
Peter Mueller (RW) Out indefinitely - Concussion

I think the last time our injury list was this short was game 2
