Habs got robbed that's it , they played a great road game , refs put away the whistles we could have a 5 on 3 with the Darche Crosscheck , and Lady Luck well was with the Avs tonight , congrats to the avs with a diminished line up still put up the points!

Habs simply couldn't capitalize.

Nobody can't deny the numbers of chances they had especially in the 3rd period.

I'm starting to feel pessimistic again. 1-4 on their last 5, I'm starting to worry that they're smack-dab in the middle of a cataclysmic bad sequence that will land them back on the bubble.

Irrational, of course; they've played quite well in a number of the losses, and have had more bad luck than bad play. But still; the death spiral seems to be an annual Canadiens tradition.

Bad mistakes and terrible lack of finish sunk the team.

Gonna be a rough road trip. Team is still desperately in need of another top 6 winger and top 4 d-man. Without Markov we're getting progressively worse. Doesn't this remind everyone of our usual "Good start, horrible middle, scramble just to make it to 7th or 8th" seasons? (see 05-06, 06-07, 08-09).

Disappointing game. The Avs got some good bounces both ways. At their end with Anderson and at our end too. That game winning goal for instance.

Habs just don't have enough players that have good hands around the net. Either we miss, or the puck skips over the sticks, or something. So many missed opportunities again.

Subban played MUCH, MUCH better with Gill. Bench Picard please and start playing Weber. He's been good in the games that he has played this year. Picard needs to sit for a while.

Onto Dallas...

Agree with you on the altitude part. According to Brunet, the Habs lost to the altitude more than against the Avs. When it's not the altitude, it's the fatigue or the ''gros bonhomme'' factor, point is Brunet sucks.

Habs lost this one on Subban's mistake and lack of opportunism.
