I was responding to the statement that Gabby is better than Z in every facet of the game.
So I showed 3 facets where Z is better. Also, this season:

Gabby - 1 goal per 46 min
Z - 1 goal per 29 min

Also Gabby missed 13 games, which means he had to be replaced with a player that generally doesn't make top 12.

So who is better? Probably Gabby. But to say he is better in every aspect of the game is BS.

Gabby is most likely better in every facet of the game. let's be realistic. you are right that so far this season Zherdev show better production on the stat sheets then Gabby. but Boyle has the same amount of goals this season than Ovechkin. and i'm pretty sure Ovy is better than Boyle in every facet of the game. (que Boyle enthusiasts) i do love me some Boyle tho. but you get my point.

Lay off the bong. Gabby is better than Z in every meaning of the game.

except for maybe like "moves with the puck" or wahtever...ie, toedrags or what not...Z can pull them off, and has some really sick moves in his arsenal...but yeah, other than that, Gaborik is far superior in every aspect.

Seriously? Like, really, I hope you're joking.

No one on the planet Earth thinks that Z was worth the arbitration amount... and he is not.

Good luck in all you do, Nik, but stay away from this team. Score your goals, do your thing and disappear when the game gets intensely physical.

Several Flyers (Richard, Giroux, etc.) have admitted that Zherdev is probably the most skilled Flyer right now. This is on an incredibly deep team featuring such elite players like Carter, Richards, Giroux, Briere, etc.

Laviolette is one of the best coaches in the league, and he is working (intensely) on Zherdev's game (unlike Tortorella, who gave up on him).

So don't underestimate him. He is hungry, and he is here on the mission to prove that he belongs to the elite. And he has all the tools to do it. He is one of the most dangerous players this year.

You have seen it. Twice.

Are you his agent or a relative? I'd say at least 95% of your posting total is talking up Zherdev

And Kovalev is probably the most skilled player on the Senators. Talk to Sens fans and see how they feel about him.

Tortorella did not give up on Zherdev. Z admitted to the press during the playoffs that the pace was too much for him and he was still trying to adjust. He failed to do so.

No. I was just extremely pissed off with how Tortorella/Rangers handled him two years ago.

I thought you were being facetious but I checked... you're totally right. Wow... I can't imagine spending that much time talking up Nik Zherdev.

Zherdev against the Rangers was the equivalence to Avery vs the Stars last year, Z will vanish for times in the future and I like Gabby's play in the defensive zone alot more.. if that is saying anything

Screw Zherdev I don't want that soft enigmatic guy on the team again. As for he carried the team; you can look real good as the best offensive player on a crappy offensive team. Fact of the matter is when we needed him most he was invisible.

Exactly... Zherdev did a nice job for us... Sucks he's still not here because it really seemed like Torts wanted to give him a chance.
