This is cool - love the song. Not one to rock to - but a great song and video.

Not even Mariah Carey's album?

I've been listening to these guys all day. There's a music video on YT if you're curious, but the recording is a lot lower.

Obligatory:

I'm with you. I'm a major fan of the Vince Guaraldi Trio especially their Charlie Brown Christmas Special sound track. This is my favorite Christmas song. I particularly love the 6min instrumental version.

I may or may not have already listened to that today.

I may or may not have sat down and learned that bassline today, actually. I'm a sucker for nearly anything from the 90s.

The entire album is really awesome...and it isn't sappy crap like so many other Christmas albums.

No it isn't sappy. In fact it is both a great Christmas album and a great jazz album. You don't come across that very often.

Started listening to the Like and Metric. Completely different bands, but I like both all the same.

I love The Black Keys first six albums, a lot. Not too keen on the new one. Have you seen them live? Great show.

It's not Rubber Factory, but I like the new one.

Haven't seen them live, but have heard good things and definitely will if I get a chance.

That Mariah Carey song might be my favorite Christmas song.

Black Keys - I'm actually only getting around to that now. Trying to cover what I've missed before making my list. I have 3 or 4 others that I'm going to pick up before I cut it off for list-making purposes, but I said that last week too.

Anyone who doesn't like it hates Christmas.

Yeah, the new CD isn't terrible or anything. There are tracks on it I like. Doesn't really measure up to the others, though.

BTW, what the **** is up with one of their songs getting featured in a new commercial every week??

Anyone ever listen to the band Assembly of Dust? My Uncle is trying to get me up to his venue later this month to see them. I've never listened to them but when I was doing a little reading I noticed that Mike Gordon plays bass on one or two of their tracks from the latest cd.

Hovercraft - me too. I have seen him 10 times easy. I saw him in Ottawa and he told the crowd of teenagers who were moshpiting to "Settle down - this ain't a ****** kiss concert". Awesome
