Why can't JVR do shots like that in normal games?

Chara hit one at 105.4 MPH. JVR, who is very much smaller, did 101.5 MPH. Very ****ing nice. But seriously, I hope that they learned something about themselves in this competition.

I missed the powerplay part -- did anyone score? It'd be nice to see, even if it doesn't count!

JVR -- holy crap, what a shot. Where is that during the game?

Let's just say, if we practice our powerplays like that, no wonder we suck.

I know it was fun and games, but I want to see some pressure, not blown passes.

I think the only thing they leaned was that if they kept score at practice that people would show up.

I was very surprised that Nodl was the fastest skater. His college scouting report said he was fast, but I never saw it translate to the NHL. Who also skated against him?

And I am also very surprised with JvR's shot. I've never seen that in a game before. I would like to see him use it more

the skaters were nodl, jvr, powe, coburn, bart, and zherdev. afterwards, nodl said powe probably would've won if not for the edge he caught on the last turn. nodl looked the sharpest out of all 6.

I'm surprised carter didn't skate, I guess he was having a maintenance day too. He came in 2nd against the All Stars a few years back
