It took 91 points to get 8th in the West last year (but Colorado finished 8th with 95). For the Canucks to finish with 95 they'd need 53 points in the 51 games left.

The Canucks could play .500 hockey for the rest of the year (which every team in the West except for the Alberta teams has) and make the playoffs.

I think a Final between two Canadian teams would break the internet. Yowza. But I'd sure welcome it.

There might not be any users left on the forum when it was all said and done, however.
