They weren't exactly game conditions, but he was using his size damned well. There was one time where I feel like he would have been dangerously out of position in a 5v5 game scenario though.

yea alot of the shots were pretty low key, i guess with the guys running round with no contact an no helmets it limits what they can do..

still i must admit i liked watching out there..

got a good feeling he might just be playing when they come to Van.

wtf.

Way to be a Yankee fan Mike.
He should probably not wear a Yankee's hat around Philly.

Well, he's been here long enough to know that's the response he was gonna get. Why he would do that and not just throw on that Rednex Rebellion hat he has or something else is beyond me. Then again from what I've seen of him I always thought he marches to the beat of a different drummer.

heard he has had his agent talk to shooter about a trade to ny after this season. The nightlife is far superior there and he needs to conquer new ground. He also prefers their beaches

Agreed. He is the Captain of the Flyers, even if he is a Yankee fan, he def knows what people in the area will say to him while wearing the Yankee cap.

I always thought he was BoSox fan...... interesting. It also makes sense why he's never done one of those "Good Luck Phillies" videos that the team does for the playoffs.

I could care less if he likes our teams. But if you like another team you should probably not wear their logo around the stadiums.

I can't wait for this to be the next thing people rip Mike about. God damn him supporting another team lol. Did ya hear, 95% of the flyers team supported different hockey clubs when they were younger!

Richards is allowed to be a Yankees fan, but for him to be upset about it is kind of weak, if in fact he was. JVR is a Yankees fan too, but I've seen the guy with a Phillies hat. Boucher is a noted Red Sox fan and is why he was sent to Fenway for the Winter Classic announcement, but during the World Series he was on the jumbotron with a Phillies hat on. Hell, Lappy got on me when I met him because I was wearing a Saints hat and acted like he's an Eagles fan (in reality, they just all tend to support the locals' team, that's not to say whether or not everyone else always has, but I'm pretty sure Quebec isn't Eagles Country).

On the flip side, Sean Burke was also a Flyers fan, and the first time he was here he couldn't wait to get out of here.

Richards is from Ontario, shouldn't he be a Blue Jays fan? Frontrunner.

For his attempts in the accuracy competition, shouldn't they have put the top two targets on the glass behind the net?

Umm.... no. I'm from Ontario and I'm a Flyers/Kansas City Royals/Tennessee Titans fan.

I'd love to know how you settled on Tennessee. Are you overjoyed to see Vince "Bum" Young gone?
