Depends, do you get points for minus and give aways?

If height is a component, yes. He is useless on all other fronts.

Can't believe we based our avatar theme for this season around him, he's been really disappointing .

Don't know if this is the right thread, but does Bobby Ryan have a brother that also plays hockey?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joey_Ryan_%28ice_hockey%29

Wiki says so, but I can't confirm it anywhere else. He doesn't really look like Bobby, and he was born within 9 months of him, so he might be a half-brother. Looks like he played 2 pre-season games with the Elmira Jackals (Ducks ECHL affiliate) and now he's currently playing for the Bakersfield Condors.

Only reason I discovered this was because the 2010-2011 database update for EHM2007 came out today and he was listed under "Favorite Staff" for Bobby Ryan .

Ryan grew up in Malden, Massachusetts with his mother and father (Bob and Sharon), along with two brothers (John Paul and Bobby) and one sister (Holly)

Ryan was able to play hockey for his hometown high school in Malden and with the Valley Junior Warriors, where he played with his brother, Bobby.

The word Bobby has a link to his profile as well, so I'd say it is his brother

Well it's Wikipedia, anyone could have edited that in. They didn't cite their source for that information, and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else, which is why I was questioning it. If they really are related, they'd have to be half-brothers since they were born within 7 months of each other.

Seriously, took a while since Lidas decided to retire, but they're finally out! They haven't been uploaded to the site yet, but the new updater (Manimal) uploaded them to his own hosting: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums...=110714#110714

At this rate I could possibly see 40 points happen. That is of course if he can keep his play up like this. And yes, he plays on the 1st powerplay

No. That is wrong. Bobby Ryan's (our Bobby) last name wasn't actually Ryan, but it was Stevenson. But Bobby had to change it because of his dad's trouble with the government (law), go read the story!

Our Bobby Ryan also was born in New Jersey and grew up in California and parts of the west coast.

Brandon McMillan

What can you tell me about this guy? He's a small player, but small players seem to excel in today's NHL. So the idea of that being a detriment to a player's game is becoming a myth baring mind they aren't too small. Like 5 feet and 90 lbs small. I just picked him up in a fantasy keeper league, since he has 7 points in his past 8 games, including a shorty in his last NHL contest. I never get Anaheim Duck games here, which is sad since there are so many Winnipeg ties to the team, and to my Moose. Or were with former Ducks Mike Brown, Kent Huskins, Nathan McIver, Josh Green, recent Duck Dan Sexton (who was a loaner) and of course, head coach Randy Carlyle. Not to mention Teemu Selanne was an ex-Winnipeg Jet.

I just want to know what Brandon means to you and your team, what his upside is, and what kind of game he plays. I get he must be a good two-way player if he gets short handed time, but looking at some of his numbers, he has some offensive upside. Again, there is only so much I can go on, but I rather get it straight from the guys and gals who watch these players on a game-to-game basis.

Thanks in advance,

Pittsburgh Penguins and Manitoba Moose fan

He's fast, versatile, has a high hockey IQ and excels defensively. Style wise is kinda similar to Marchant except he plays more on the wing than at centre, despite being drafted as a centre. His upside is probably a defensively conscious 2nd liner and downside is probably a third/fourth line checker, depending on how much his offensive game translates at this level.

McBackups mask...

Short clip about McBackup and his mask design...

Quote:
Despite his penchant for emblazoning demonic characters on his masks, Ducks netminder Curtis McElhinney is not a frightening person. McElhinney talks about his approach to design, Cujo’s mask, and his love of demons. Demonomania, demonomania, demonomania!
