Yes those four are... but he never said that in his statement/question -- "I think we can all agree these four are our future...put them in order of your favorite not whos the best.." -- So Murph has a point... maybe we all cannot agree with what he said.
The point that Briere and Pronger are an intrical part of the Flyers future to me should be a well taken one... So, if the question is merely of these four homegrown players how do we rank them as favorites, then my answer stands as the one I posted... HOWEVER, if we look at the players that are contracted through the period Giroux is, Pronger and Briere are inked even longer, and Meszaros is signed as long as Giroux, while Bobrovsky is in the Organizations control that long also -- through 2013-14, the period that JvR is under their control -- which gives the Flyers four potentially good postseason runs with that core of eight... and three of those seasons Kimmo and Hartnell can be included to expand that core to ten; Walker and Bartulis are also locked up over that period, but I do not include them in this... If we add that group and Briere, Pronger and Timonen could be above them all in popularity with some of us... and potentially Bob, since he has some real fans now.
All that said... IMO the next few seasons should give us a window of opportunity and great hockey with a core of players who are very popular and exciting.
