Not sure if you saw one of the vancouver-toronto games at the ACC, when sundin, playing as a member of the canucks scored the shoot out winner on a nationally televised game

Scoring the game tying (or game winning) goal and then doing the Theo Fleury knee slide fist pump down the ice:

Scoring goals is always a good feeling.

I'm a very competitive person, so late tying/game-winners are always awesome, especially in the playoffs. I set one of those up a few season ago in the finals of my league. Won a face-off clean to my left winger who ripped one over the goalie's shoulder with about 2 minutes to go in the 3rd period, putting us up by one goal. I don't think I've ever been so excited to have my team score.

Winning a championship was a good feeling too. After way too many seasons on awful(but fun)teams, it was nice to be the best for a change.

This post is just passive aggressive and dishonest.
You were trying to be rude. You clearly created a post just to be rude and insulting. You are extremely immature if you think people feeling good about making friends while playing hockey means nothing.

Your game winner in a shootout is what I should have posted? Been there, done that. didn't mean squat in comparison.

I really wasnt trying to be rude, and to be honest I thought you were being sarcastic. Where im from no one cares about beer league. Its just a excuse to get out for some exercise. Once again I apologize I offended you.

For some of us, beer league is all we will ever have. I didn't start playing until I was 27 and I live in Los Angeles.

I apologize to you as well. I shouldn't be so sensitive Also, sorry for mucking up the thread.

-receiving/giving a stretch pass in motion for a break away
-hitting people while I have the puck
-working hard along the boards/behind the net to turn the puck over and finding a perfect pass

As a goalie, a good goaltending duel is great.

The goalie our rival team always ends up beating my team. We hated each other, and had been playing against oneanother for about 5 years, and he always had the stronger team. Then, last season we faced off yet again. In a great game. We both had a shutout going into the third. We were both playing amazing. Then with about 2 minutes my team scores, and we win 1-0. That was the first of my 7 shutouts that year. (we only play 20 games). And to top it off, we where in their barn, and they had a decent sized crowd.

and this year, in our only meeting so far, we beat them 7-2.

THIS, and it's not even close.

I took five years off from hockey. I just started playing again a few months ago. I'll never forget that feeling when I first stepped on the ice again. At first I was like, , then I was like, ...'this is a lot harder than I remember' haha

A beatiful goal. Deking around two or three guys then undressing the goaltender or making a beautiful pass to a teammate who buries it.

Beautiful offensive artistry is what makes playing hockey fun.
