Brodeur and the Non-Shootout Win Record

This isn't meant as a shot at Brodeur but genuine curiosity. Is anyone tracking this? Does he have it? If not, will he any time soon?

He's got 607 career wins, 34 via shootout according to: http://www.nhlshootouts.com/AllTimeGoalieStats.htm

573 -- so, well north of Roy's 551.

Edit: Fun with numbers.

Goalies with the 5 best shootout save percentage with at least 50 shots against:

Goalie Shots SV%
Hedberg, Johan 93 0.796
Rinne, Pekka 90 0.778
Garon, Mathieu 90 0.756
Lundqvist, Henrik 194 0.753
Halak, Jaroslav 56 0.75

Top 5 worst goalies

Goalie Shots SV%
Toskala, Vesa 63 0.524
Biron, Martin 63 0.556
Kiprusoff, Miikka 103 0.573
Backstrom, Niklas 123 0.577
LaBarbera, Jason 63 0.587

Lundqvist - arguably the best shootout/1-on-1 goalie - 25 straight saves is just insane, no one is even close.

The common thread with all of the top 5 is that they are athletic battlers -- Lundqvist's SO record speaks for itself. Garon is another goalie whose style lends itself well to one on one, and I'm not surprised he's up there.

The bottom 5 goalies are quite passive goalies, whose reflexes were never really considered the strengths of their games. No idea why Kipper is so terrible on breakaways.

I track wins by 1983, 1999, and 2005 standards in order to put Win/Loss records on an even playing field across eras. This was the breakdown as of Win 551:

http://hfboards.com/showpost.php?p=18601752&postcount=1

According to Pre-1983 standards (no overtime), Brodeur passed Patrick Roy in April 2010.

And yet he lost the biggest one on the final day of last season.

I'd have bet the house on the Rangers winning that shootout and making the playoffs.

Another glittering example of why not to gamble.

Please, don't mention that again. It was bad enough back then and I don't want to think about it again. I was almost sure that we were in and then...
