How was this the easiest? Plenty of teams passed him over in that draft.
Guys like letang, neal, stasny all came later in the draft that year.
DD had to be the easiest pick in the history of the kings...and that stil wasnt easy because of Bogo.
The draft is always a hit or miss. Usually the top 3 picks are usually money...but after that its a crapshoot.
