There isn't a single positive thing about tonight. This team could easy be winless on this road trip.

This thread is unbearable. Picard this, Picard that... Seriously, true that Picard wasn't good, but he was much better than Hamrlik/Spacek/Gorges tonight.

Why do we criticize the 7th defenseman instead of the vets?? Only on HFBoards.

Gill was our best defenseman tonight, and that's bad news.

Its less about Picard and more about the decision to keep him in instead of Subban. God forbid Subban and Weber are both in the game.

best thing Gagnon ever said in his life.

L'Antichambre backing PK right now and said Grabo,Sergei,Lats,Ribs were mishandled by the team but they all contribute to kick them out of town.

They are in a downward spiral, thank god the east sucks this year, they still might make the playoffs.
Don't say that man...these guys are going to throw out all these stats and talk about the D being the reason why Price has played so well

Even an idiot can see that the only reason this team was winning before was because Price was playing out of his mind. This team is no different than it was at the beginning of the season except for Price.

Sorta reminds you of the playoffs, doesn't it? Ride hot goalie until hot goalie looks human.

We keep criticizing Picard because they won't make him number 7 by sitting his useless ***.

Bingo. And this goes way back to the improper retooling of the BG free agent frenzy. The team wasn't properly rebuilt and we are seeing that it looks very similar to what was here before.

I don't agree ypu can't win a game with one goal and 8 penalties( one major). They was playing good in the beginning of the year but they can't patch Markov hole.

One new D-men and this team will be alot better

Effin Marinaro.....

I prefer Eller to play at this level than below. I wish they would keep more talented players more constantly though.

Picard should not be the one sitting. I agree Subban has to play, but I think Gorges should not dress until he's fully recovered.

Dang I can't believe I'm going to say this but Bouillion, Brisebois, Dandenault would be an improvement over Spacek, Picard, Gill.

Take the tape from this game and burn it.. Unfortunately it looks like our Habs have fallen back down to earth.. It was fun while it lasted though..

It's JM's fault that Price looks human now because he's playing him too much.

Although I'll be honest, its feels like they have taken a night off on the french-loving.

Does anybody believe the Desharnais could have a future here???

Ah how the memories fade and the worst of times becomes forgotten and idealized. There is NO comparison to be made between those past players and the new ones except for Picard who's essentially a 7th defenseman.

LOL, the penalties hurt, but c'mon man. We've had trouble scoring for how long now? We need a D-man...yes...that's still not going to make that big of a difference. We have some glaring holes here and it can't be fixed with just 1 guy.
