Kings 4, Guppies 0...THOUGHTS AND TIDBITS!!!

Domination.

- Glad to see Quick get the shutout. He faced his action sporadically but was up to the challenge and kept his focus throughout. He was huge on the PK to end the 1st when the Sharks had been dominated but were sniffing for the lead going into the intermission.

- I think we're currently watching Kopitar turn into a dominant force. He's always been great but he's finding the consistent effort now every night and with his skill set and size, that's a deadly combination.

- O Captain, My Captain. Brown is on a great run. It's awesome how good he is when he's not expected (either by Murray and co. or himself) to be the puck carrier/playmaker on a line. Kopitar has taken over that role emphatically and it's allowed Dustin to simplify his game and we're seeing the results. He looks like the 30+/30+ we all expect.

- Great to see Sturm get his first goal. Weak goal by Niemi but we deserved it. Love the emotion he shows.

- Doughty and Johnson as a pair is awesome and has me drooling about the possibilities for the next decade plus.. Don't break them up unless they start stinking up the joint. Pair Mitchell with Scuderi when he comes back.....on that note, Scuderi is awesome. I don't know where I'd rank him in the defensive defenseman category but I can't imagine putting many ahead of him.

- Lewis with another great game. Kid is really coming into his own. The 4th line as a whole played really, really well.

Unreal.

The rough schedule might help us out. How we're playing right now, the more games the better. Keep the hot streak.

Such a great win! The whole team played great!

Sturm with his 1st goal as a King!

The play by Kopi and Brown, the pass and goal was insane!

Jesus, we have the best fourth line I've seen in years. Richardson and Lewis just outwork opponents.

It's been a great 44 year run, but this is the deepest Los Angeles Kings team I have ever seen.

If it wasn't for that mini-slump a month ago, this team would be at the top of the league.

That was... this...

One of the best games of the season by the Kings... and the ass end of a back to back no less.

Can we now just put to rest once and for all, that Kopi and Brown can't play together? No matter how some Kings fans think they know better than actual coaches in the NHL, they simply do not.

What's most impressive with the two wins? Getzlaf and Thornton were both invisible.
