Awesome day for us Canadians, Team Canada at 3:30, then time for a nap followed by the Flyers! Hoping for good things from both teams.

Would be nice to have a quick start and score 3-4 goals on Luongo.

Still about 13 hours til puck drops. Lame.

Had to wake up at 6:45AM for a breakfast meeting. Being up this early is surreal. I still haven't figured out if this is reality yet...

I love when the Flyers play Western Conference teams. Win or lose, it is always fun to see some different teams and players, of course, it's always nicer when they win.

Not going to be able to watch this one (at home in PA with crappy internet and no cable). Then again, that should be a good thing since the Flyers seem to score in bunches whenever I leave to pee, get a drink, answer the door, etc.

The Flyers haven't lost in Vancouver since Zooey Deschanel's 9th birthday, which is impressive since she's now 30.

Let Go Flyers!

Really excited for this game. Both teams are evenly matched. Hopefully Timonen plays his A game and stops the twins . Will be switching back and forth from the Eagles game too. Bieska vs. Richards take 3? I'm sure it's going to happen.

I was unaware how close each team's record is to the other.

The skate was scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. local time. The starter will likely be known after that.

I didn't know Mats Naslund played such a prominent role in Canucks games in the late 90's and early 00's for Vancouver against Philly.. in fact I didn't know he even ever played for Vancouver.

That is what Tim P. said a few days ago, too.

Here is the latest from practice courtesy Sam @ the Philly Inq.:

Looks like the Flyers are having some fun at Powe's expense -- check out day 2 of his video blog!
