Expected, it is remarkable he made the tryout in the first place. Is he eligible next year?

Yes and at this rate may be a key player.

That would be nice, Culek and Sorensen next year. If Mark Stone was to ever improve his skting we might be able to make it three, I would love if he got a try out spot next year.

Man, I'm really excited about this tournament. The Sens prospects are easily the most exciting thing about the organization right now and the WJC is a great opportunity to see them play. Two years ago we were watching Karlsson as the tournament's best defender, last year we saw Petersson as one of the best forwards, and this year we get to watch Cowen and Lehner, who are both in discussions about being the best in their positions. Can't wait!

update time:

Cowen has looked solid for canada. Earning praise from tsn for his defensive play through 2 games. Scored a PP goal in garbage time vs the czechs. If CDH is injured longer, he may move permanently onto the 2nd PP unit.

Culek was barely noticeable today vs Canada. Made a couple of passes that led to scoring chances, but that's it. Not noticeably bad either though.

Lehner first start against russia, he shut them out (30 saves) and earned player of the game. For comparision, canada allowed 3 goals vs the same russian team.
