After our run of 2010 obscured some fundamental issues with this team, maybe this isn't such a bad thing. We won't need a serious rebuild a la Calgary but perhaps this will wake up Gauthier to some issues with this team. It's just too small and passive to compete on the road at this time of year, and that always nearly sinks us come April.

Why bother pulling the goalie? To give Caps and EN and pad their stats that's why.

1. hit the net, glass, and out

2. no jump, time to kick ace in a practice

3. cammy seems lost?

We have about 1 goal when pulling for extra attacker under Martin, and about 10 EN goals in that time too. It's pathetically automatic. Plus, of our 5 shutouts, only one wasn't a 3-0 loss. Gotta stay consistent right?

Next Christmas all I want is somebody that can drop the gloves, throw a ****ing hit, stand in front of the net and pop 40 goals.

Is that too much to ask?

I agree Lapierre needs to go and Pyatt is not nearly as effective.
Moen I still like as he will at least throw the body and drop the gloves if he has to.

I'd like to see what Desharnais can do but where does he play? Third line centre?

He's not going to play a head of Gomez or PLekanec.

Apparently yes. A 40 goal scorer at all is something Hab management is incapable of finding or developing. Plus, we haven't had that player since Rocket Richard anyway. They don't come around very often.

don't agree all the way,

the 3rd liners are not here to carry scoring.

the 5 to 8.5 mil guys are, and they are MIA.
