Trade help: Crosby, Sedin, etc.

Points-based one year league:
My
Crosby, Bobrovsky, Louis Eriksson, Krejci

for his
Perry, H Sedin, Doughty, Toews

The overall points basically balance out, but I need more PPP and he needs a goalie.

I have four great goalies already so don't really need Bob. I'm pretty deep overall, but I want to make a change and help out my PPP situation.

Is this...
fair?
necessary?
amazing?

I would do that trade. Crosby isn't going to keep up a 160 point pace, and in fact, if Richards gets traded out of Dallas, expect Eriksson to fall off his pace significantly as well (which he will do anyways). It's a good deal for you, you're going to get 4 guys who are guaranteed to perform, and giving up 3 guys in the deal who may not (Eriksson, Bob and Krejci).

Although if you can, I'd find a way to try to keep Crosby.

Henrik Sedin is on pace for 106 points currently, and showing no signs of stopping. What else does this guy have to do to earn peoples' respect?

I do this. You give up the best player, but get 4 top 20 pieces back.

I could see why trading Crosby would scare people away, and I agree with the guy who said if you can find a way to keep him and do the deal you should, but it's still a pretty good deal anyway. Like everyone already said, with the exception of Crosby you're trading some not-so-sure things for 4 definitely great players. Seems like you'll benefit greatly at pretty much every position without losing much except for Cindy.

Thanks for all of the feedback though, now that Toews is out, it looks like the deal is on hold. I might try a 3 for 3 deal to get Perry and Sedin.

So how about that Henrik guy now? 3 assists last night puts him on pace for another 110 point season.
