Well, my girlfriend of four years who could care less about sports just got me some Rangers/Flyers tickets for this February. Awesome xmas present! I told her I wanted her to pick one sport (Eagles/Flyers/Phils) to watch with me and she picked the Flyers... good sign

the best thing anyguy could do is patiently teach them about hockey while watching a game. i reccomend doing it when its not a flyers game so your focus will naturally be on them. i did this the year the flyers lost to tampa in the playoffs and now its like a dream come true... easier xmas and birthday shopping, center ice packages without the concern for the price, season tickets on the glass to the flyers echl team. even made up a bucket list nhl/flyers style( see an nhl final, witness a hattrick, a retirement ceremony etc etc...) the only downside i can see is if you teach them about hockey first alot of times theyll view other sports as too slow.

Well,i got my wife into hockey(she was into it when she was younger a bit) and we live in Hamilton Ontraio and with me being a Flyers fans i told her to pick a team but take ur time and make sure its the team that you wanna cheer for.Well, its been tens years since she has picked her team and let me tell you....i love it when the Flyers play her team cause you KNOW we usually always kill the TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS lmfao...playoff time is nice and quiet for me round here, dont have to hear about any other team but mine.....but she still likes to cheer for whatever team is playing against Philly just to piss me off lol

A little rivalry never hurts the romance. Not unless it escalates to fist fights. Some of my hockey friends are girls and they can throw them pretty well.

No,No fist fights.....at least not yet...lol....but,now it is getting a bit boring cause the Flyers cant meet the Leafs in the playoffs and we USUALLY beat them during the season, the Leafs MIGHT get lucky once but thats all.....i just keep using that the Flyers were the last thing the Leafs have seen in the playoffs since there last playoff series was against us

Chicks dig spontaneity too. Be sure to bust out your Flyers superiority when she least expects it. Like at funerals or at 4 am. They love that stuff.

I did actually! But to be honest, that's probably the least of things for me to brag about when it comes to her...haha

My girlfriend is a bit of a Flyers fan, though she probably would go back to simply not caring if I wasn't around. She does support the Kings a bit because Handzus was her favorite Flyer.

I don't brag about women. They brag about me. And Kimmo Timonen.
