18 year old in the WHL. Plays for an average Kamloops Blazers team (which boasts no NHL prospects). Was drafted near the end of the 7th round in the 2010 draft. Problem was that for a small guy, wasnt the best skater. His hockey sense/ offensive ability though was considered 2nd-3rd round talent. He worked on the skating and at the moments leads the WHL in points (58 points in 36 games), and goals (28 goals in 26 games). Like I said in the beginning, not an overager, turned 18 last May.

If this kid can really get some wheels going, he might be something for Flyers fans to look forward to.

Its all about skating. Maroon had some of the best hands in the league, but he was also one of the worst skaters in the league. If he develops his skating so that he is at least competent in the NHL, he might have a really good shot at becoming a good player

clearly gonna be briere's replacement as team midget in 3 or so years lol.

although i'm am basing this solely off of things i've read (don't get too many whl games on tv in pa...), i have a feeling at best he will be an a. giroux or k. aucoin type of player who tears it up in the ahl but struggles in the nhl.
