Funny, because Kreider was great the first two games and had no goals to show for it. The posters that only know how to read box scores killed the kid. Now, he has his most quiet game by far, yet pots a goal. Should I wait for those same posters to tell me how good he was this game?

Hopefully that'll get Kreider going. He has been snakebit this tournament unlike last year.

Kreider's been better this period for sure.

That four on four shift when...get this...Palmieri wasn't on the ice with him and Coyle they really dominated

They should've taken him out to start the 3rd period. Maybe even right after that 4th goal.

Bourque is really terrific. Creates chances all the time. You notice him every single shift.

Last year, he'd hit a little, play some defense, but otherwise would be invisible. I really didn't like him much a year ago. But he's really had a great tournament this year, especially for a third round pick.

He seems strong on his feet and a good player who can see the ice well, so he may well have an NHL future despite his height.

I think injuries are a bigger concern than his height.

I think the injuries and his stature are related.

Kreider got better as the game went on, but it was still his worst effort thus far. He just looked uninvolved.

It's so hard to use games like as any sort of measuring stick because the opposition is clearly significantly inferior.

Agreed. But at the same time you'd like to see a player like Kreider really try to assert himself against a team like that. I'm pretty disappointed in the effort, regardless of the goal scored.

I think you hit the nail on the head with this. He's freaking small. He seems smaller than he's listed.

But he's obviously gifted in the offensive game. He absolutely took control at times when he had the puck tonight, and Germany's terrible defense sure couldn't get anything on him.

It was not hard last year when Step was abusing the opposition. Good opposing teams or bad, you could just see that he doesn't belong with kids anymore. I am not seeing anything remotely close to that this year on Team USA. They need to pick it up, way up, if they are to win the Gold again. They would probably need to pick it up just to win a bronze.

Oh, I agree. It's just that I'm not so much concerned about his height in any regard other than his proclivity towards being injured.

each and every time ive watched chris kreider this year, be it in a bc jersey or now in the red white and blue, he fails to impress me.

really hoping this kid is just hiding all his talent

im just not seeing alot right now that tells me hes anything more than a real fast skater

Kreider is a fast skater with a good shot, which made a lot of guys into solid top-6 wingers.

I don't know if he will be a first liner, but he sure can be a good second liner.

Dubinsky is looking increasingly like our first line left wing for many years to come. He keeps improving with his monstrous work ethic and desire to learn.

If Dubinsky scores in the 65-70 point range while playing an all-around game, I have no problem with Kreider scoring about 50 points on the second line.

That's because Stepan is a far bigger offensive talent than anyone on this year's team. They really lack top end talent this season. No big playmaker, no big goalscorer.

"in the end, lisin will score goals for this team and play alot more minutes over guys making alot more coin than he is."

"if lisin got cally minutes he would outscore cally. period."

"without a doubt. no question. i do.

hes got elite offensive skills. hes learning the otherside of the ice

hes 23.

hes gonna be special"

We are supposed to listen to your opinion on what kind of NHL player Kreider will become?

And in case you forgot those are just a few of your posts about Enver LOLisin. You have no credibility.

nice work. seems to me you have no life and thus, lots of time to do some very fine research. you leave the basement often ?

kreider so far, hasnt shown much. what that has to do with enver lisin and his inability to perform in the nhl, i have no clue.

i guess, based upon your theory, i should be saying "kreider is cant miss" then...
