I'd say watching Habs is more akin to picking said poop up and shoveling it down one's throat.

Let me guess, you're basing this on the passing of Claude Giroux ?

Habs still need a top 6 forward, but even more importantly is they need not Gomez, not Spacek and someone who cares. Even Subban looks like he's lost his flair.

Weber is a best and shouldn't be send down. Probably our best d atm. Wiz, it's his first game, but he looked solid too.

Admitting to being a habs fan right now is like admitting to your mom you tried to get your gf to do the Alaskan Pipeline, but when she refused you got mad at her for being immature.

Weber was brutal tonight, turnover after turnover. I still want him over Picard.

Habs scored in the first minute, and I thought Great! not going to be one of those low-scoring snoozefests.....Silly me.

Habs also didn't take the first penalty, so I thought...ah, maybe not gonna be a game where the Habs get stupid on the penalty front.....even stupider me.

And this team's absolute inability to grind it out or manufacture some offense when they're behind is mind-boggling. Just keep playing the same trapping style, whether you're behind, tied or in the lead.

You need goals ffs....open it up. This team is supposed to be fast, but you'd never know it.

I truly believe that in this case, if Lapierre's last name was Smith, this would not have been said.

Honestly. Lapierre has been so average this year.

I read this article about a week or so ago and thought that it was all BS concerning Martin but after 9 games now since the altercation happened so I'm not so sure anymore.. It was probably posted here before but still interesting to read since it was updated today.. BS or there is something to it maybe?

going through the motions

its sad but they are a team that will battle to make the playoffs. not as bad as they are now, not as good as before.

but the effort levels are concerning.

until gomez is gone and we add some size along with skill/grit in the top 6, we aint gonna be doin much

The one thing I noticed tonight was in the 1st period. When the Wiz hit the post I could only think wow now that he's a Hab he misses or hits the post if he was an Isle it would of went in.

The rest of the game I had to run to the bathroom and puke. When I got to the bathroom I felt fine but as soon as I started watching again my stomach was turning.

I'm starting to give up and about to tune out of the Habs this year. I've watched some real lousy early 2000 teams etc. and they at least put in an effort for the skill they had. This team has skill but just doesn't seem to care so if they continue to not care then I'll do the same.

Because this game is a blow in the teeths of PG and his many apologists here...

- Desjardins will never be an NHL player
- Boucher is overrated
- Tampa Bay is overrated
- Picard is the problem
- Weber and Subban need more ice time
- Wisniewski is exactly what we need
- The Habs are a cup contender

So many myths got destroyed tonight...

Are you kidding me?

One game doesn't make Desjardins an NHL player. One game doesn't mean Tampa isn't overrated, it just means that we suck these days. One game doesn't make Picard not a problem and that he should be back in the lineup and that Wiz isn't exactly what we need because we lost.

Such a retarded post, I'm sorry. Just wow.

ewww....

Boucher is a great coach. Have you seen what he did just before the Lightning 1st goal IIRC? (on 5 on 3) He is very good if you ask me.

Note: I followed him a bit when he was in the Q.

In the 6 games on this road trip thus far the Habs have scored a grand total of 9 ****ing goals and have given up 21 goals against... Averaging 1.5 goals a game ain't gonna win you many games in the NHL..
