That's actually pretty funny. My friend who looks exactly like EC just sprained his MCL. Not kidding.

But seriously, that's not good if we get into any shootouts. But, hopefully Weise can get some playing time with EC out.

Tough loss.....Erik provides a lot of versatility and usually comes up big once every 5 games or so on the score sheet and let's not forget his abilities in the shootout

After several years of hardly any significant injuries at all, we are really getting our share this season

not much of a loss. it gives the rangers a chance to call up more young players.

Interesting tweet from Brooks', I knew EC was money in the SO but hadn't realised nobody other than Zucc had scored;

"Rangers shootout stats: Christensen 3-for-3. Zuccarello 1-for-1. Everyone else 0-for-13."

Is Todd White just running around taking people out with a bat or something?

I was watching warmups last nite and the players were taking breakaways. EC scored on Henrik everytime. No one else scored on Henrik.

Whatever. Let's have Zucca and Weise show what they got. I hope Zucca will never have to get bus tickets to Hartford again.

Also, with Zucca and Weise with the big club, it gives more ice time to Grachev, Dupont and others who need more ice time to prove their worth.

Go for the win in OT to avoid the shootout.

What's amazing is we've won 2 out of 3 shootouts.

The 2 we won we scored 1 goal

The 1 we lost we scored 2 goals, go figure.

damn, we'll get through it though. After Drury, EC is one of the next expendable guys.

Too bad it couldn't be Avery.

At least Christensen serves some worth in the shootout, and a decent play every few games that usually ends up in the back of the net.

And he doesn't constantly go offsides.

Don't even get me started man.

My Avery hatred has gone to an unhealthy level.

What young players do we have that can play center?

Grachev, that's pretty much it. Drury can shift back to C, as could Avery. Then you have an extra spot on the wing.

We'll lose his inconsistency and shootout skill... Whoopie.
