Carcillo made the motion like he was going to cross check Westgarth.

this is seriously ridiculous. two misconducts in like two seconds and 7-4 makes not a happy AJ.

Speed kills in today's NHL and we lack it, heavily. Having a line like Richardson-Lewis-Simmonds, for example, would help us keep up with other team's speed. That same line but with Parse on it had success last season too, maybe it's time TM switches things up.

I'm so sick of Stoll too, it's about time he goes into a slump and hopefully management realizes that he's not a #2 center

Kings are just ruining their record when scoring at least three goals.

wtf are you talking about? The Kings are (were?) 4th in the conference at the start of the game.

I flipped out when the kings lost 7 of 8 and I was wrong, the kings are about to lose their second in a row. Lets not over react they are still a playoff team and still have all the right pieces to make a nice deep playoff run. We arent going to win 82 games a season and we arent going to go all season without losing games here and there. We dont need to change much, if anything. this is the same team taht shut out the sharks and detroit. We are fine.

I also find it funny how you call out Stoll in the same post that you say we need speed.

Kings still in 4th, but in a 3 way tie with Sharks (one game more than us) and Avs (same amount of games) and Blues are 2 back with game in hand.

I thought you were being sarcastic, was about to go into one of those canadian hate tangents.

FYI, it's Derian Hatcher. 98-99

The Kings don't play well without Mitchell and Poni.

We need an update on their status from Hammond.

Wow, what a surprise. Carcillo will give Simmonds a shot, but when Westgarth is going after him, he plays his usual chicken **** role.

Not where? It's not like the Kings played their best. I didn't even watch the game but I'm going to assume they can play much better.

And what about the games against your other Cup contenders? You know, those 2 wins against Detroit and those 2 wins against the Canucks.

Back-to-back games, horrible excuse, but I thought it affected them especially in the 3rd there... Bernier can't save a FAST puck with his life depending on it. Hell, he was the one to put when he didn't get the call-up a few years ago.. THIS IS WHY, YOU ARE NOT READY! When the time comes then you will be shown as the great goaie you are, but NOT NOW.

If they weren't physically tired, the Kings sure were mentally tired today.

Series of situations where mistakes compounded one another and bad things happened.

There was a shaky call or two but the Flyers had a bad one go against them early, too. Most of those were legit and they were foolish. The Scuderi one was only questionable because of the situation. Williams didn't do damage with his slash, but he was guiltily, came right down on the guy's stick in frustration. If the stick breaks, no one questions it. You don't have to concuss a guy to board him, you don't have to break his stick to slash him.

The Kings' second goal was beautiful. If that had defined their night instead of the Flyers' second goal, which was a bad offensive play, a lack of awareness with the man coming out of the box, a bad defensive and bad goaltending all stacked into one dung sandwich, they would have been in good shape. Heady play, great effort on the second goal. All downhill from there.

No one person is responsible. I sort of second guess the decision to start Bernier after he worked last night a little (Quick was probably fresh) but I doubt it would have mattered. The Flyers got borderline terrible goaltending, they still won. Their skaters beat the Kings skaters, physically, mentally and in the skill game.

Smyth played a real solid game, he was the best King on the ice tonight IMO. Third line had a rough night, very rough, they've been very good lately, too.
