I'll save all of the journalists and bloggers some time and do their write-up for them:
Leighton sucks!

I'll be happier if we beat Anaheim later on today. I'll be even happier than that if I never have to see Leighton in net again.

Where has Schafer been lately? I haven't seen him around. He'd have a lot to say about Leighton.

Michael Leighton. Take 1 for 60 minutes, to instantly improve your offensive performance. Side effects my include hyper-activity & panic in defensive zone.

Good win, lets hope for similar result tomorrow to bring this road trip to .500.

Time to get ready for work then...

Well, he did make some pretty good saves. And the team really played for him, esp. the captain. Say what you want but there is something to earning your team's respect.

And that's with the defense literally playing goalie for him in the beginning of the third. If you want a better judgment of his performance, you should add a goal on to those numbers for that save from the defense.

NO, this is the new NHL. 4 games in 5 nights? Really? It's just as stupid as 8 days off in mid-season.

I love how the team plays good in front of leighton. The team continues to win under him lol. He may blow but they seem to always play good.

4 GAA. 3 were absolutely on him. The 4th was about 70% on him.

He looked poor. They'll still roll 3 goalies for the time being though it would seem.

It helps to get seven goals. He was shaky early, better as the game progressed but there were instances where his timing was off and his reaction to certain plays lacked. The radio crew speculated that Bobrovsky would start the next game at Anaheim but at the same time the three-goalie rotation got even more complicated.

Solely based on this performance, he would be playing in a beer league tomorrow. Unfortunately, I don't think that's happening any time soon.

Apparently Carcillo got a crosschecking penalty at 20:00 in the 3rd. Did anybody see anything?

You know, I'm actually fine with him getting R&R time, with him being a rookie and such

edit: unless it means more of what we saw tonight
