Atlanta @ Montreal

Early afternoon game in Montreal. We need to get PLENTY of rest tonight and tomorrow, to be ready for this one.

Go out, pressure the opposition, win the battles, and win the game. It's that simple. Let's do this!

I think Montreal is on a bit of a downslide right now. (I don't know, I don't follow them.)

Anyways rest is definitely needed, and we don't need to be fiddling with lines. Get them figured out before the game.

Ladd Pevs Bergy
Kane Little Stewart
Modin Burmy Eager or Cormier
Greek Gods

These should be the lines or those should at least be our top 6

Hopefully Bogo back in the lineup. Any reason why he was scratched?

he's been banged up, but it might have been that they wanted fresh legs out there and well, he's or worst d-man so it makes sense that he's the one to get scratched.

I really wish they could get the juniors rule changed. Bogosian could have really benefited from a year in the AHL, but another year in juniors would have been no good.

Our first line with Stewart does not work. -2 last game and -3 against Devils...??? When Bergie play with Ladd and Peverley they produce and was much better.

Think he hurt himself in the Boston game. At one point it looked like he twisted his ankle. He came back to the game, but it looked pretty painful.

Cormier and Kane were on the same line at the World Jrs. And Kane and Stewie have some chemistry.

Time to split Pevs and Ladd as Peverley again has a "trrble" +\- as Sir Charles would say.

Ladd - Little - Bergfors
Kane - Cormier - Stewart
Peverley - Burmistrov - Modin
Boulton - Slater - Thorburn

Try that.

How successful were they? That seems like that could work pretty nicely.

I'm intrigued by the prospect of that pairing under Ramsay's system but I'm skeptical. That line was a checking line for Canada in the tournament.

Hey guys, looking forward to tomorrow!

I was wondering if you could tell me how Ladd has been playing for the last few games. I know he's not showing up on the scoresheet as much but is it for lack of trying & play time or is he just in a bit of a slump?

All the boys are weary. 16 games in 30 days. And some really physical battles against Boston in the last week.

Ladd's been getting more ice time than ever. I think he had almost 25 minutes at home vs. Boston on Thursday.

He's been a great captain so far!
Hope the game tomorrow is clean and fast.

I'm betting for the Thrashers on this one

Can't wait to watch the game.

Wow, I didn't realize this game was at 1pm until just now. I definitely would have slept in and missed it.

well hell. It's pregame talk that we have Bergfors being sat out and everyone knows it in the NHL, meanwhile, Tampa goes out and steals Dwayne Roloson for a career AHL'er.

They will probably turn one of their extra goalies over for another glue guy this week. How much longer do we suffer injuries and AHL pluggers before Dudley makes a move?

Depends on who you think is an AHL plugger. Stapleton? Possibly. Cormier? You're off your rocker.
