Good effort, lots of positives. And yet, you don't win with 51 shots on goal!? Blame Price all you want but the D was brutal and the offense has to finish more.

You just knew Byfuglien would score when they said he was shutout so far. Classic RDS jinx.

Price was average, he made some good saves but let in some stinkers and his save percentage doesn't inspire confidence. He's in a slump so let's play Auld for a while shall we, he is a serviceable goaltender and deserves a shot.

Pavelec was awesome. Period.

On the bright side, we have shot nearly 100 times against the goal in the last 2 games, that is hopefully a sign of things to come. More offensive minded game, please.

Gomez, Gionta, Plekanec, Subban (to an extent) had really good games. And Max Pac too. Wiz was great offensively.

Too bad the refs decided this game, a shoot out would have been interesting.

Thanks Price.

Team is in desperate need of a finisher. How can you outshoot opponents so badly and lose? It's pathetic. Some credit to the goalies yes, but someone put the damn puck in the net.

Spacek is worse than Brisebois and I cannot wait until Kostitsyn is gone.

I disagree, the Devils are HORRIBLE to watch.
But Id say Habs are also boring.

However tonight, they were entertaining as hell.

Not sure what you're smoking but you should report it to the local hospitals because you need some help!

I hate that big eared fat headed JERK!
And who should he have played ?
Hamrlik was not very good tonight, Subban was in the box, and we're left with Wisniewski and Weber, and they're not better defensively than Spacek.

Good grief, the whining about officiating from Hab fans is getting disgusting now.

Yea, they missed that call. But Subban took an obvious hook call. There's no such thing as a weak hooking call in this league anymore. You will get called for the slightest tug with the stick.

Stop putting losses on the refs and put them on the team...or give the team that beat them some credit. Pavelec stood on his head...he played better than Price. Thrashers took advantage of their opportunities. End of story.

Thing is....when Brunet keeps mentioning, true that it's redundant....but most people think the same. Where was he today? Problem with Kostitsyn is that he's the most frustrating player on this team. Capable of doing so much more with the talent he has but then....nowhere to be found. At least that's what Brunet thinks. But Kostitsyn is just that. A player with talent that will bring it once in a while.

The Good News:

Our PP is red hot, thanks to The Wiz. And even when the PP doesn't score, it still looks very competent out there at least.

We finally managed to make a 3rd period comeback, and make it count a bit (get a pt for an OT loss). Again some thanks to The Wiz for that.

The team has shown tremendous energy and drive the last two games, with us amassing huge shot totals for in both games.

Subban seems to have his game back, at least offensively.

Gomez and Gio had pretty good games. So did Pleks.

Patches needs to work on his shot, but it's great that he actually goes to the front of the net.

The Bad News:

Price looked shaky this game. If Price played as well as Pavelec did, we would have won this game.

Cammy is really snakebitten.

AKost is simply invisible.

It was a very weak call on Subban, I think. Had they called the high stick earlier, I wouldn't have any issue with it. They didn't, thoughs, o there's really no need to have that kind of "make up call" when there was no original penalty..

Exciting game to watch.

Our top 3 lines were all creating good scoring chances.

Pleks, Poolie, DD, Gio, Pac, Gomer, Cammy all looked good.

Our D pairings will take a bit of time to gel. Overall not bad.

Price did not look sharp. A. Kosti looked for the most part disinterested.
Moen, Pyatt, and Halpren line did not look sharp.

Wiz , was again looking great and getting points and helping us score goals.

We came from behind to tie it 3 times. Great effort overall.

I'm not a big AK fan but today I can't put blame on him, he had some good passes and played an overall OK game, but he ALWAYS falls and that is annoying...

Did you watch the game, or simply listen to Benoit Brunet talk?

Kostitsyn had some great passes out there.

As it was stated before, the same hook on Gionta in the 2nd when he went on a breakaway was not called. A hook is a hook right? right...

Hopefully PG learns a lesson and gets us an offensive coach and a first line winger with finish.

Pretty much. There were quite a few times where the Thrashers simply melted down in their own zone and really let the Habs manhandle them. If not for Pavelec, this probably would have been a 5-2 game the other way.

If you guys can play this aggressively more regularly, and have Price play as well as he was earlier in the season, I'd consider you to be a serious contender. As a Sabres fan, I know all too well what it's like to rely on inconsistent offense that should be better on paper, and a hot goalie who's sometimes human at the wrong times.

Other than the pass to Cammalleri he was pretty invisible IMO. Just no need for him and his inconsistency.
