Ok I bought some expensive hockey pants and no matter how much you pay the freaking "clamps (i dont know what they are called)" are still PLASTIC. I was tightening my hockey pants before practice and the thing just snaps of leaving me to tie my 2 straps in a knot to hold my pants up. I dont know what its called (im russian so don't expect me to know these things ) but below I circled it in an image. Is there a place to get a replacement for these things? I dont want to dish out another $100-$150 just because of this thing breaking?

Seems like this is what you're needing

http://www.hockeyworld.com/index/pag...elease+Buckles

$3.50 sure won't break the bank.

Thats going to be way too big for the belt on a pair of hockey pants.

Grab one of these: http://www.purehockey.com/ecom/produ...key-Belts.html

and just use the plastic piece off of it. $4.99 won't break the bank either, and you will also have a spare belt in case yours rips or something...unlikely as that may be. Also, if you call CCM or whoever manufactured your pants, odds are they will send you a replacement, for free.

For the price a hockey supplier will charge for one, you can get 2 or 3 at your local fabric store (or Walmart in the fabric section)

They're called Fastex buckles and they are definitely not hockey specific.
