For the zillionth time in Holmgren's tenure, making up for his own mistake isn't something for which one should applaud.

I'm glad he's gone but appreciate what he did. He was really good until he got hurt in the regular season for us. If he didn't step up there, we don't even make the playoffs.

He was also great in the Boston series and incredible against the Habs.

While I fear you might be right, it would not surprise me at all to see some team take a stab at him. I mean, the dude was just in the Stanley Cup Finals.

I'm really not sure if there is a team that would pick him up at all. The only teams that come to mind are Phoenix and Buffalo that would replace their mediocre backups of Labarbera and Lalime respectively (what's with all those goalies with 'L' anyway?). There are the Islanders, but some Isles fans were saying they had too many goalies in their minor league club and that getting rid of Roloson helped them in that regard. Other than that it's slim pickings. I think he clears.
