Fun to watch or not, it's ridiculous to put Belak in on the off chance that Parros wants to stage a fight at approximately the four minute mark, right off a faceoff.

Maybe I'm missing a game, but by my count Belak has only been in the line up for 4 wins. Chicago, StL, SJ, and Columbus.

I agree. Record with Belak in the line up notwithstanding, I don't think this team has the depth up front to ice a guy who is going to see limited minutes. Couple that with the fact that it's likely he gets into at least one fight and his potential ice time is reduced even more. I in the Skate Klasen fan club tonight. I hope Belak shuts me up.

edit: though his five hits in the CBJ game is a nice little stat.

You're right. I took someone elses word for it a couple games ago, but didn't check myself till now. The Preds are actually 4-2-1 when Trotz "decides" to put Belak in the lineup. The three times his hand has been forced have all been losses...

Going to be watching the Canada vs Russia WJC tonight, but will pop on during intermissions. Go getm boys. Dumont better not be in the top6 tonight, he's been dissapointing so far and could potentially bring down the chemistry of our scoring lines while attempting to get him going at the same time. Do the right thing Trotz.

The WJC game is at 630 central ... the Preds game at 9. No excuse not to watch both.

I'm tired, can't do any drinking games as the time difference all games start pre-noon here in Taiwan. Don't need to become an alcoholic just to watch the Preds, although it might help

Go Preds

My lucky bottle of Scotch, which has won us the past two games, says we win tonight. After tonight it's out of his hands as the bottle will be empty by the 3rd period.

Any word on Rinne or Lindback?

With the Preds playing LA tomorrow, you've gotta wonder if Lindback will get one of the two games....If so, tonight makes sense...

That's ok. I picked up a fresh bottle while I was in Lynchburg.

There is no way they see enough to award a goal on this...

Good job by Belak there. Ducks buzzing around our net, he gets Parros to drop'em. Negates scoring chance for Anaheim!
