So if tonight's Jackets/Leafs game gets out of hand, we've got the USA/Germany game starting at 7pm. Just sayin.

Johansen looks strong on his skates. I am more convinced he was the right choice. Tall frame. He should be even better when he fills it out. He's playing wing so his game is a bit adjusted from his normal Center position. His game is all positive.

Johansen had 3 assists today. Also a nice hit on Larsson.

Hopefully Larsson doesn't take it personally and he falls to us in the draft.

There's no doubt in my mind he was the right choice. Over all the years of watching the rookies in there first camps and pre-season I think Johansen was ahead of any of our previous guys. He is a big guy, who plays with an edge, something even Rick Nash can't grasp. He was able to also slow the game down when he had the puck like a veteran play maker would. I'm not saying he's a sure thing, but he certainly looks like he could be great.

Nash plays with an edge when he wants to. The problem is getting him to want to every game.

Yep. I also took note of this. Absolutely no panic with the puck.

Johansen is going to be a great NHLer imo. Their are no reals flaws to his game except foot speed. That will gain over time, hopefully enough time for next year. He posses the great passing ability for a playmaker and vision. Also, he has great positioning and is a key part of Canada's powerplay. Kid is a stud hockey player, great pick imo. Liked it from the beginning.

Johansen scores 3rd goal for Canada vs USA, has a point in every game, and 9 points for the tournament.

That goal was nice. Great job finding the puck in front of the net.

While he may not be outscoring everyone by leaps and bounds in the CHL, the kid is a consistent point-producer, something we totally lack.

Team Canada fan here. (woohoo)

Ryan Johansen is going to be a star. He's been unreal. I would say better then Schenn.

Russians just came back from 3-0 deficit in 3rd period to beat Canada 5-3. Amazing collapse by the Canadians.

How pathetic. Johansen will fit nicely with the Jackets.

Team Canada fan here but what the Russians did this game, this tournament was one of the biggest comebacks in hockey history. Life and death vs. Sweden, Life and death vs. Finland, in a foreign country, playing in a building filled with Team Canada fans, down 3-0 with 20 minutes to go......and scoring 5 goals in 15 minutes to beat the Tournament favorite. It was the stuff movie endings are made of.

Though Team Canada did collapse. It was hard to watch . Felt terrible for our boys, still in shock, but the Russians celebrating was one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen.

Too bad Nikky wasn't on the team this year, seeing as how 95% of Team Russia were his teammates last year. It was the first time the Russians have won the tournament since Ovie was 17. Even Sweden rushed to congratulate the Russians (writing "Congratulations Russia! From Team Sweden" on Masked Tape in Team Russia's locker room). It was stunning.

I find it both pleasing and hilarious that Canada lost. The Canadians obviously started to believe their own press. Dopes.

AWESOME!!! Slovakia saved and Russia won I am absolutely agree!!!
I am sure Russia would play better last year if Pluscev would not a coach. He is not a coach, he is..... . He did not know understand he trains young players not players with experiences. Any strategy, tactic, psychology... nothing.
