Wondering that myself. I guess they would nullify it because they couldn't score two goals at the same point in the game, right?

And **** this game. Most boring brand of hockey ever.

The game picks up bigtime once the score is tied, but if the devils are leading, boring game......................

first goal would count, time would go back to the time of that goal, second goal would be null

Yes, the "second" goal would have been nullified. That would have stopped play and then the review would have overturned the no-goal.

If Richie is hurt, like badly. I see Holmgren upping the offer for Langs.

What would happen in case there is a, say, tripping minor called? Would it count?

No, a tripping minor would not count. And it's not odd they let them continue, because it wasn't clear if it was a goal or not. You can't stop the play for hitting the crossbar.

I'm pretty sure everything is null and void since none of it actually happens. . . i mean unless there is a major. . . i think that would still count.

Is there a reason we get dominated on the boards every game?

Wow. Crosby's out. He's not playing tonight and MTL still stinks.

Yeah, the way they have been playing even two allowed goals seems like too much.

Well, I think that would *exist*. I'm not sure what the exact rule is, but I'd assume you can't have anything called that's related to the play itself. A brawl isn't really covered by that.

Apart from missing waaaay too many solid chances, we're also makin an awful lot of risky plays in the defensive zone. I don't know how many passes were attempted up into the slot. Not only by the defenders, there are some forwards who are culprits here as well.

Good to see Hartnell and Leino in good old form though. Timonen is his usual self as well. van Riemsdyk looks a lot better than a year ago (although, if he could stop running down Richards, that would be nice... pot a goal on one of all those chances might be an idea as well).

Also, it seems as if we could just as well start every game against the Devils down 0-1. How many goals does Zubrus have against us by now?

I'm pretty sure penalties would still count.

This happened not too long ago, though I don't remember the teams. One team scored, but it wasn't conclusive so play continued and the other team scored. This was the first stoppage in play, so they went upstairs and the first goal was declared good. That's really a double whammy.

Penalties count, I am almost sure:

Quote:
35.8 Verification of Time - In the event that a goal is awarded by video review even though play continued, the Penalty Timekeeper must adjust any existing penalties, according to the situation. The clock must revert back to the original time the goal was scored. If a penalty was in the process of being called, it will revert back to that time also.

I believe that was a Kings-Sharks game. Not sure about the Sharks but I'm pretty sure the Kings were involved.
