hello , not really a hockey topic but

im heading up to ottawa for the weekend , gonna take in the sen's-wings game ...

anyone who may live in or around ottawa have any sugestions on possible good spots to visit , restaurants , clubs, bars , stores, etc etc .

first time ever going to ottawa and to be honest im nto really shure what it has to offer . welcome any suggestions

First off, Ottawa is a great city, its nice and clean and hasnt ben ruined by heavy industry. As far as restaraunts go, id try the Byward Market, theres a lot of nice places there. If u want a quick bite just go into Kanata( where the arena actually is) and theres any fast food place as well as Denny's,East Side Marios etc. Hope you enjoy your time there

Depends where you're staying and for how long. You could stay near the Corel Centre in Kanata and have plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping nearby at the Kanata Centrum in a surburban atmosphere. Or you could stay downtown and have even more options.
