Gaston Therrien's love affair with David Desharnais = Benoit Brunet love affair with Latendresse.

PP was bad, but we had clean zone entries and a lot of nice potential plays. Pen's D seemed really good at collapsing on us in the middle and in front of the net. 5 on 3's became an annoying clusterf**k.

we just gotta keep going through these injuries. boston will be a nice test.
We had no Markov, no Gorges and no Hamrlik.. I think that pretty much even's up the score. Let's not make any excuses for why we beat them, we beat them fair and square and the Pens we're 6-1-1 in back-to-backs this year until tonight.

God is Therrien annoying with his Desharnais love, first PP unit? really? He's been ok but let's slow down the train a little here...

PK had very little PP time. I think he barely was on even on the long 5 vs 3.

Wondering if someone can explain to me what happened on RDS regarding PJ Stock. Watched the game on a different feed. Do tell.

No he was not.

It's hindsight, but maybe he could have made a difference. He's been making much better decisions back there on the PP lately and Wiz was a little predictable tonight (well the whole PP was).. Martin should have switched it up after the first minute or so.

Cammy goes for the shot.....the moment he shoots, we are switched to a picture of PJ waiting on the Antichambre set for a second

Overall it was a good game. Defensively they did a solid job however a Crosby-less Pens makes a huge difference

Price looks to have regained some swagger tonight.
Subban hopefully is on the way back on track.
Desharnais impresses me with how he angles and positions himself to ward off bigger players.

Only downside was the embarrassing five on three. That was ugly. Lucky it wasnt the down fall of the team.

Shootout, Cammy's the first shooter up
Cammy picks up the puck at the face-off dot
Comes barreling in
PJ STOCK
Brett Johnson sprawled out and the puck in the corner

While Cammy was coming down at Johnson for his shootout attempt... RDS feed all of a sudden cut to PJ Stock sitting on the anti-chambre couch. They cut back to the game after the attempt was over.

As Cammalleri was skating in (first shooter) the screen suddenly cut to a still image of PJ Stock sitting in the Antichambre set for like 2-3 seconds... Then cut back to the game only to see Cammalleri had messed up his move.

It was weird.

Subban was playing with Gill, ahd the toughest assignments, 25 mins of icetime tonight, i dont necessarily agree with him being on the bench on a 5vs4, but on a 5vs3, we're supposed to have the weapons to score. And anyway, he's clearly going to be the most-used D if Hamrlik is out for more games.
