Here goes Gaston again - guess about who: Desharnais!!!

This is the kind of insane stuff/pressure that ruins francophone kids in Montreal.

RDS is such a failure. We missed the OT the other night, missed a shooutout attempt tonight, Brunet picking on AK46 everytime he's on the ice, etc etc. Houde also thought Pouliot missed his shot when that move has been used so many times in SO.

I don't get the hate for Desharnais.

He was one of the hardest workers tonight and he showed signs that he'll be a really good player. Hopefully he keeps getting ice time and keeps getting better.

Gionta made it in the league because he played bigger than he was, and Desharnais is doing the same thing.

It was weird.
I honestly thought there was more to it than that. I assumed PJ Stock was caught doing something inappropriate or something.

According to Pouliot, Before Pouliots turn to shoot, he told his teammates that he'd do that move.

On what planet should Pouliot get more mins than Gomez?

Nah it was just a real moment for RDS in general. Myself, I couldn't stop laughing because I know that only RDS could glitch up like that at such an important moment.

It was Ulto-Fail.

Like appearing on television any time something hockey-related is on? I consider that to be sufficiently inappropriate.

It's not hate - the kid was great tonight and I liked him the other game too. But he has to keep his cool and stay focused - they are treating him like he was the greatest player ever to step on the Bell Centre ice. They did the same with Lats and Laps before.

They are human beings - if they keep hearing how awesome they are they are bound to believe it. Guys like Gaston, the media/fan pressure destroys them.

Given a decent passing center and other quality line members ... Pouilot is a good top 6 player. Put him on a line with sleepers and he will sleep... put him with energetic players...he will be energetic. Characteristics of a player looking for an ''identity'' ... what he had to go through in the last year and a half was good for him... if JM can make him see the light at the end of the tunnel.

the guy can score... put him somewhere you can benefit from that. And please... give the guy some PP time ... not a lot... but some... just a candy he can keep feeding on.

He's been nothing short of a great 5 on 5 player for us...

TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a practical joke on RDS's part. PJ was staring directly into the cam.

Even with his boston bias he is still better than Gaston Therrien I would do a trade Therrien/Stock to be the hockey analyst on RDS anytime.

nice game by the boys.

I like the depth of our organization. Now with the injuries the depth gets some good games in. Come playoff time this depth will be priceless.

I think we can overcome our injuries through the depth(still have Carle/Nash) and the right moves at he deadline.

I still believe!

No one should take either of my last two posts too seriously. Overabundance of sass, but don't consider this an apology for it.

I don't think there is any hate for him, just people reacting to some obvious suspects over-hypeing him. I assume everybody wants him to do well.

TBH. I have not followed him closely enough to give him a grade or a judgement. Nor do I know what style he plays. However, I don't like that arm-chair coaches on L'Antichambre are already praising him and saying he should play in nearly every special team or important moment. Give the kid time to grow up, we didnt do it correctly for Latendresse.. lets try with him.
