Strong game against a very good defensive team. Yes we held on for dear life at the end but it was a good game. Kobasew > Mittens on the top line but it looked like Bruno was benched for stretches in the third and Havlat was put up there. Stoner's been impressive lately too.

Hope they can string one or two more wins together and get in this one...we still have a game in hand on a lot of teams and we actually were fortunate (for the first time in two years!) that when we did go on a nice streak a few teams ahead lost, which is why we were able to leapfrog.

Yay for falling asleep before the game even begins!

I'll watch it on replay later today seeing as they won.

Also I had to compliment the B's fans for having such a good crowd in the arena. That was so much more fun than the bland and quiet people that the Wild play to 95% of the time (home and away).

What are you doing in Hungary?
Studying math, of all things. Good times. At least I'm old enough here to drown any Wild-related sorrows!

I wouldn't mind seeing a Kobasew-Koivu-O'Sullivan line. I don't think O'Sullivan deserves it or anything, but I think Brunette and Miettinen have worked their way off that line, and we shouldn't break up Bouchard/Brodziak/Havlat or Clutterbuck/Cullen

Kobasew-Koivu-O'Sullivan
Bouchard-Brodziak-Havlat
Clutter-Cullen-Miettinen

Uhhh keep O'Sullivan as far away from Koivu as possible, please. We have seen what every Oiler/Canes fan said about the guy is pretty true. Very lazy doesnt bring a lot of energy but I can say last night be did play well, took that one minor when he got beat by Seguin but it took away his scoring chance. Everything is fine the way it is.

What are you doing in Hungary?
I nominate James Sheppard. It's not like he's doing anything now.

Clearly Sheppard is a poster here. He's gotta do something to pass the time in the press box. I'd go so far as to say that someone in the James Sheppard Appreciation thread wasn't being sarcastic at all.

I'll call HBO. I think we've got the makings of the next great TV series.

James Sheppard running around the Eastern Bloc? Yes please!
