Have we played the most back to back games this season? It's getting ridiculous.

Predicting Gaborik and Avery to get some points tonight. Gabs came so close last time and Avery has every reason to be fired up.

Game starts at 2:30 am here, but I'll stay up for it anyway. Should be a real good one, though i daren't pick a winner. Don't see Rags picking up an easy win, that's for sure.

- Avery will play with Gaborik and Anisimov, same as vs Canes; McDonagh w Gilroy on D.

- Frolov with Drury, Weise; other lines unchanged.

- Lundqvist in net.

I hope Aves is fired up. That line looked good on Wednesday.

Avery owned Dallas last time, so I think getting him more minutes, at least for this game, is a good move. He loves to stick it to his haters (ie: Brodeur).

I can't imagine that Gilroy McD pairing getting much ice time unless we blow this thing wide open. That could be a shaky pairing especially against Dallas' speed.

We played in Denver earlier. That was a 03:00 start.

And we're playing in Anaheim and San Jose later this season which are 04:00 and 04:30 starts (for us). Ugh. I do love the Western Conference matchups though, despite the ridiculus time.

The Avery-Anisimov-Gaborik line played great against the canes. Hopefully they can keep it up. Looking forward to see how McDonagh does tonight.

Both guys are excellent skaters. Speed is not the problem; positioning due to lack of experience may be.

Distinction; Gilroy is a good skater, but he is not fast. McDonagh happens to be both.

In the context of Rozi, Girardi, Sauer, he's pretty fast. Again, I don't they will get overmatched simply because Dallas is fast.
