Any way to tell how many tickets are still available? Looking to do student rush again but 6 people total. Hoping there is a place with 6 in a row.

I can't remember the last time I watched a Rangers game where they scored in the first period.

Plus Avery might be fired up, let's hope he stays invisible.

• The Blueshirts have tallied the first goal of the game in 23 of their 41 games, posting a record of 17-5-1 in those contests, and own a record of 10-1-1 when leading after the first period.

• The Rangers lead the league with 13 victories on the road, having posted a record of 13-7-1 in 21 games away from MSG this season.

• New York ranks second in the NHL with 11 points when trailing after two periods, having registered a 4-9-3 mark in those games.

• The Blueshirts are 9-1-0 (4-0-0 at home, 5-1-0 on the road) in the second game, having out-scored their opponent, 31-12, in those games. Over the last two seasons, New York is 18-3-2 in the back-end of back-to-back sets, including a 8-1-1 mark at MSG and 10-2-1 on the road over the span.

• The Rangers currently lead the NHL with 1,179 hits and rank second with 651 blocked shots.

• The Rangers have had 15 different players credited with at least one game-winning goal this season, which is the most in the NHL.

• The Rangers lead the league in shorthanded goals (eight) and road wins (13), are tied for seventh in wins (23), and rank ninth in points (49) and goals (121), and seventh with a plus-17 goal differential.

Neal has 1G and 1A in his last 12 games, ouch. Maybe we could trade him to the Leafs for 2 lottery picks and a 2nd.

^Exactly why Joe didn't budge and give him a long-term contract. Neal needs to wake up and play 60 every night

some of us are, some of us aren't. In fact you won't find a more polarizing issue among Stars fans than Mikey. I think everyone can agree that he did a world of good for selling hockey in Dallas, but that seems such a long time ago now for some of us. Fans have known for years that Mo has been phoning it in, essentially just skating around the rink and collecting a pay check, waiting to retire. He finally admitted as much in Detroit, and well that has a way of pissing off fans who weren't already upset about it. Especially when he felt entitled to another year which would take away time from players who were actually working. Indications seem to point to him not having a great lockerroom attitude either, he felt very entitled and I can certainly understand why. It also doesn't help that Modano has never been one to know when to shut his mouth and since he has left he has said somethings just to bag on the Stars, for no real reason other than to make himself feel better. I'm definitely not a fan but he still does have quite a few fans around this board.

thanks..surprised to hear this..always thought he was a class act...but I really havent followed the Stars closely. Too bad that he's ruined his legacy there. ....Zubov used to be my neighbor when he played for the Rangers....very nice guy.....a horrible move by NY letting him go.

From JeffKStars twitter:

Lags is traveling to Dallas late today, not expected in tonight's lineup.

So no he is not.

He'll still be back in an office position and have his # retired and all that good stuff after he hangs up the skates, don't get us wrong. But he's miffed a few hardcore fans who know a bit about the dynamics he brought to the team. To the casual fan, they still love him, so he'll be back.

This ought to work... click on a section to zoom in and see the individual seats that are or are not available.

Well, if both teams are trailing after 2 periods we'll know who has the upper hand.

To the casual fan, the worst thing Nieuwendyk could've done was letting him walk...especially to the Wings.

Thank God he did.
