We just wouldn't. KHL becoming too prominent and attractive for any Russian play that goes through any adversity as a player in the NHL.
Kugrysheve has said, repeatedly, that he wants to play in North America. He came back to NA very early this summer to train here, instead of Russia. There's honestly less flight risk with him than with many North American prospects who struggle to crack the NHL roster for a year or two (Chris Bourque, Geoff Platt, etc.)

Agreed. As much as Poti appears to be the underachiever on the defense right now (hopefully he'll continue to get healthier and improve his play), we can't turn around and trade him right away. It's not going to make it any easier to resign other players, especially at any sort of hometown discount.
