Linus Klasen sent back to Milwaukee

Quote:
Nashville Predators President of Hockey operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Linus Klasen (LEEH-nuhs KLAH-sehn) to Milwaukee.

Klasen, 24 (2/19/86), appeared in three games during his most recent recall. He made his NHL debut on Oct. 30 at Detroit and now has no points in four career games while averaging 12:53. At the time of his recall, the Stockholm, Sweden native was tied for sixth in the American Hockey League in goals (15) and game-winning goals (3), in addition to ranking fourth in the League in power-play markers (7, tie). In his first North American professional season the 5-8, 178-pound winger paces the Admirals in points with 27 (15g-12a) in 29 games.

Showed a lot of skill, but didn't get results and wasn't playing recently. All part of his development, I'm sure he'll get another opportunity later this season...

I thought you were studying sports broadcasting, not graphic design. Either way, you really need to get a copy of Photoshop working when your up at school. These photos have been great!

with the announcement that Spaling will not play tomorrow, barring any callups, we're essentially going to play 10.15 forwards and 7 dmen.

Cool!

I've gotta wonder if Bouillon's injury (broken nose) doesn't have him as questionable and whether his minutes will be limited as a result forcing Sulzer into the lineup as a 7th D?

Linus showed lots of skill but he never looked like he bought into the way this team needs to play. Either he didn't understand or didn't agree with what he was supposed to do. Either way he didn't seem to fit.

I meant long term. If anything the way Nashville plays they can afford to play with three lines. They play for secondary depth.

Worst comes to worse, you can give a defenseman sparse time as a forward to give the regulars a blow. Play 3 or 4 defensemen on the PK to eat up some special team minutes.

I am a broadcast major. This is more of a hobby during my downtime. I've had six thousand problems with computers over the last six months, or I would have done more, but I'm really just now starting to get a feel for where everything is.

Besides, with graphic design, you have to be able to draw, and I can't do that to save my life.
