What the hell was Robidas pointing at, defend the guy in front of you trying to score.

Yet ANOTHER botched line change. Is anyone in charge back there behind the bench?

Neal gets badly high-sticked by Girardi, refs not paying attention.

Wow. WTF refs?
I know that calls get missed, but the Avery ******** on Lehtonen couldn't have been more obvious.

LOL yes Rangers, I'm sure Benn was trying to hit you with the puck rather than get it in deep

Nice also with Avery running Kari. New York is getting away with anything they want.

The Avery-on-Lehtonen was there, but it was really oversold by Lehtonen.

Genius change-up pass by Ribs, Robidas can't do anything with it.

You can see Ribs and Larsen have more chemistry immediately than Ribs and Niskanen have developed in 3 years.

Woywitka.

Gotta win a draw.

Good win by Ribs.

I hope Richards looks better in the shootout than he did in regulation...

Will someone teach Richards the fundamentals of defense? I don't need him to be a Norris winner, but he's one of the guys back enough that he should, you know, not lunge for a stickcheck to give up a 2-on-1.

I don't know, given Lehtonen's history of being oft-injured, it probably wasn't that big of an embellishment.

Poor effort overall, they deserved to lose. Go practice line changes.

looks like the wings and nucks will both win, seperating us away from the top 2

I'm happy with the OT for a point for both my teams, but really wish we had won in that SO. We dominated faceoffs and the play in that game IMO, but ya those line changes killed us.

Detroit tied with Calgary at 4, so still might be hope to keep up with them. Still I'll be happy with a point to stay ahead in the Pacific. Six points ahead of San Jose now.

I'm sorry, but who cares what Detroit and Vancouver are doing? It's January.

Being in 1st was fun, but it was never going to last. The objective should be to win the Pacific and get home ice.

Crawford also needs to stop putting our top line against the team's best defenders. He lost the matchups tonight bad. Granted M. Staal played 33 minutes tonight, so there was no way to not put the Richards line against their top defenders, but stuff like our checking line against their 4th line shouldn't happen at home.

Agreed, I'm under no illusions we'll do better than 3rd by the season's end. But people were clamoring that the Wings and Nucks were going to win the games and pull ahead, so just commenting.
