No need to apologize. You should read the GDTs when we're losing. We cuss up a storm in that *****.

Arnott? Really? He does not compliment Gaborik at all. We need a playmaking center. Hell, might as well put Boyle there if you're gonna trade for Arnott.

Man, Tavares not being able to get to that puck to put it into the empty net really came back to bite them there.

Good thing he's improved his skating so much.

That kid needs to get the hell off that team. On the Rangers he would be a 25-30 goal scorer.

Well, he makes up for it by getting the OT winner.

No to Arnott. The Devils are an old, slow team full of has beens making 1) no effort and 2) lots of money. I want nothing to do with any of their players that they will unload for conditional 3d, 4th and 5th round picks over the next couple of months. Lamoriello got the post lockout world completely wrong and that coupled with his mistaken belief that Brodeur could still carry a mediocre team anywhere has ****ed NJ. Why in the workd would we make the same type of mistake by considering a dinosaur like Arnott?

And the Devils are so pathetic that they're not going to take any points from any of the teams in front of us. It's not good for us in the standings but in light of the "best top 9" nonsense coming from NJ fans during the summer, this is highly entertaining.

Well, he did score 24 last year. He's also one pace for about 32 goals over 82 games this year.

Maybe he'd be a 40-goal scorer here?

Take any highly touted sniper on another team.

Pair him with Stepan.

Success.

Despite his skating I firmly believe that Tavares can pot 40 if he's playing with a pass-first center.

With the exception of Washington and philly, the out of town scoreboard looks friendly today.

Did Boston just give up a two goal lead and lose in OT with Thomas in net? Lundqvist for Vezina.

It is. All we heard was that they'd be the deepest team in the league. Funny how their tune suddenly changes. "Kovalchuk has no one to play with, wah wah wah." All of a sudden they went from having the deepest team in the league to suddenly the worst. Good ****.

The Los Angeles Kings locked up one of their cornerstone players on Saturday night.

Jack Johnson, who has been with the club since the 2006-07 season, signed a seven-year extension with a salary cap hit of $4.3 million. Rich Hammond of lakingsinsider.com reports Johnson will make $3.5 million in each of the first three years, starting next season, and then $5 million per year in each of the final four seasons.

Doughty will probably get like a 4-7 year deal worth around 4.75M, in my opinion.
